My story

*I live in a foster home. Fill out an adoption inquiry form to find out more about me and how to meet me!*Hello! Thank you for “paws-ing” to read my bio. My name is Kiena! I have been living in a foster home for a few weeks now. My foster mom tells everyone that I am the best houseguest she has ever had (sorry to her human friends, but you have been out ranked)! I am also told that I am the sweetest girl. It may take me a bit of time to get comfortable with new people, but I promise I am worth the investment! I would prefer a home without kiddos as well, since I am a bit more on the sensitive side, kiddos would be a little bit too much for me.I would love a home that is fairly predictable and low traffic. Don’t let that fool you as I am no house mouse! I love taking walks and car rides. I am great on leash and also an excellent copilot! I am currently living with a canine foster brother. I love a well matched playmate! I have been a part of many dog playgroups at the shelter. In foster, I have learned that toys are really fun. Stuffies are my favorite so far! I am housebroken and crate trained. What’s not to love? … well I’ll tell ya, it’s the vet (no offense to the ones here, they are great)! I will likely require some extra care for those visits, but my friends here can give you some tips! I promise a high return on your investment!This pet is part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. You will meet this pet more than once before entering into a 3-week trial placement in your home. You will be matched with a behavior expert to help you and your pet through any bumps in the road during the trial placement. When all parties agree it is a match, we finalize the adoption!
