Lady

My story

Sweet Lady is a beautiful gentle senior, with impaired eyesight. She loves to be in the company of people, and would thrive in a home with one or two people to call her own. She is very smart and quickly learns her way around her new environment. We currently have her in our shelter office where she loves affection and will quietly keep to herself on her favorite bed. Lady was found abandoned in an encampment in the Richmond area, and we guess that at one point she had a person she was very close to. She would like nothing more than to bond with her new hooman. Lady is diabetic and receives insulin 2x a day. We would love to find her a foster or adopter who is knowledgeable about diabetes and can provide her with the love she wants to receive and give.
