My story

Meet Hero! He was adopted but unfortunately returned. This special guy deserves another chance! Hero is a 3-year-old mix of American Pitbull and Beagle, weighing 39 lbs. He's the type of dog that gets along well with every other dog and truly thrives in their company. Hero also does well with cats and older, savvy children. He's a fan of running and has even participated in a 5k. Hero knows many commands and does best with regular training sessions. He's eager to please his humans and is already housebroken and, crate trained. Having been let down before, Hero will need some time to adjust to a new home and expectations. His new family must understand that Hero is a lifelong commitment, and they need to be dedicated to providing him with daily exercise, ongoing training, and socialization.
