Sailor is a 1-year-old male Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing 58 pounds. This high-energy guy is looking for an experienced, patient family who can provide him with the exercise, attention, and consistency he needs to thrive. Sailor has a lot of love to give, but he can take some time to warm up to new people and animals, so he’s best suited to a home with kids 12+.With his agility, Sailor can jump 6-foot fences, so a secure, tall enclosure is a must to keep him safe and contained. Due to his prey drive, Sailor will need a home without small animals, including small dogs and cats. A mandatory meet-and-greet is required with any resident dogs to ensure a good match.Sailor’s anxious nature means he requires a lot of exercise and mental enrichment to help him stay calm and content. He enjoys spending quality time with his people and will thrive in a home where he can have plenty of physical activity and attention.
