My story

Hi, I'm Scrunchie! Yes, like the hair tie. And just like a good scrunchie, I'm pretty sure I'm exactly what your life has been missing.I'm a 60-pound lover boy with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and enough energy to keep things interesting. I love to play, I love adventures, and I especially love people. In fact, after all the running, playing, and zoomies are done, my favorite thing in the world is soaking up affection and giving out plenty of love in return.I've been waiting here at the shelter for over 2½ years. That's a really long time for a guy like me, and honestly, I'm ready to find my forever family. I know my perfect people are out there somewhere, hopefully with a fenced yard because zoomies are one of my specialties. I'd also be happy to meet any potential doggy siblings because making friends is always worth a try.I know I may not be a tiny puppy anymore, but what I can offer is something even better: a loyal best friend who already knows how much a forever home means. If you're looking for a dog who will fill your days with laughter, adventures, and unconditional love, I think we should meet.Shelter Notes: Scrunchie is an active, affectionate dog who enjoys playtime, exercise, and spending time with his people. He would thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard and is open to meeting potential canine companions. Scrunchie is also eligible for the Pets for Patriots program.
