Snuggly, Purry, Affectionate Meet Fruits Basket — a warm-hearted grey tabby waiting on her forever cuddle-buddy! She’ll make herself at home quickly, cozying up beside you like she’s always belonged there. If you’re into quiet evenings, good books, or low-key movie marathons, she’s your perfect lounge buddy. This chatty girl isn’t shy about sharing her feelings — she’ll meow sweetly when she’s in the mood for pets (which is most of the time), and reward your attention with a steady purr that will set you at ease. She loves being held and carried, and there’s something deeply soothing about the way she leans into affection like she really, truly gets you. Fruits Basket has a playful side, too — ribbons, feather wands, anything that dangles — but her favorite pastime is just being near her people. She'd thrive in a calm, gentle home where she can relax without too many sudden surprises. If your vibe is more “cozy catnap” than “chaotic energy,” you two might just be soulmates. Fruits Basket has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Fruits Basket can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
