My story

My personality: confident, excited about life, friendly, affectionate. My story: I was living near a temple on Phuket Island being fed by local people. I managed to deal with the challenges and dangers that street dogs face for the first year and a half of my life. No one is sure what happened but a kind person noticed that I had injured my eye which was protruding from the socket and bleeding. They called Soi Dog Foundation for help and they picked me up and took me to the shelter for treatment. I was so grateful to the vets for the care they gave me but they were unable to save my eye. I have got used to having one eye and think it adds to my unique appearance. After having surgery to remove my eye I was kept at the shelter for safety and a year and a half after arriving I am ready to find my forever family. My needs: as I have one eye my adopter will need to make me aware of their approach so I'm not startled, I am an energetic girl who would love to go for walks and I look forward to spending time with humans of my own. DISCLAIMER: I am located at Soi Dog in Phuket, Thailand. Soi Dog charges no adoption fee for me and I have been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters simply need to cover the cost of my travel crate, flight(s), and Rabies Titer Test (RTT). If you are interested in adopting me, then please inquire for further details. I woof really love it!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Waranda, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
