My story

Meet Simon our spirited one-year-old terrier. He was saved from the shelter and we quickly learned that he is more comfortable around dogs than people. With his playful spirit and love for other dogs, this furry pup would make a great companion for another dog. While he may have a mischievous streak, his heart is full of love. He will be cautious with humans at first but once he gets to know you will follow you wherever you go. He is not a fan of being picked up and will run from you if you attempt it, but he will cuddle up next to you for long naps. He is fine with receiving head scratches and petting once he is comfortable with you. Simong is smart and a quick learner. We believe that with patience, the right guidance, and positive reinforcement, he can learn and grow alongside his forever family. Simon has a healthy appetite and is crate-trained and potty-trained. This sweet pup is on the lookout for a loving home that embraces training and patience, allowing him to get used to his new environment where his playful spirit can shine. If you're ready to welcome a spirited and playful terrier into your heart and home, look no further! Contact us at 951-708-0626 or email heartandhomerescueorg@gmail.com if you would like to know more about Simon.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Simon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
