My story

DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Patchy is 11 months old, weighs 50lbs, is neutered, is microchipped, but it not up to date on his vaccines.  Patchy's guardian adds:  "He knows sit and paw and high five but keeps barking at people.  He fears/dislikes being left alone and the vaccuum.  He lays down in the car when he goes to his appointments.  He's allergic to lamb anything he likes fish and chicken and beef. Patchy's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "About to be homeless so don't want him to go through that again with the last owner that had him.  And he is a very good puppy I wish I can keep him but don't have no help with anything.  He getting along with cats and kittens if you trained him like i did." Patchy's guardian states the following regarding children:  Patchy has lived with an 8yo child, so his guardian recommends his living with children, stating "He loves the children but tries to bite on everybody's shoes a lot; been training him but it's hard without any help". Patchy's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Patchy has lived with dogs, so his guardian recommends his living with dogs, stating "He loves playing with other dogs if you introduce properly together". Patchy's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Patchy has lived with cats, so his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating "He loves cats but needs more training with them".  Patchy's guardian describes him as follows: Very active Barks alot Playful Friendly Affectionate Fearful Protective Always at your side Indoor dog Outdoor dog Nervous Likes women Separation anxiety Patchy's guardian described his ideal future home:   "Fenced yard and he loves walks and people he is fearful because he was stolen the first time by his family by a homeless man and I adopted him from DC animal shelter, so don't know where he came from." When your application is received, a Placement Manager will do a basic screening. Applications will be forwarded to the owner for further screening and continuation in the adoption process.  3.
