My story

Well, hey there, darlin’! The name’s Crawfish, but folks ‘round here call me Crawdaddy 'cause I bring big Louisiana energy with a side of chaos and charm. I’m a 1-year-old medium mixed breed with a heart full o’ sunshine, legs made for runnin’, and just enough chaos to keep things interestin’. I'm a full-time rascal and part time gentleman in training, so to speak. I may be a bit rough ‘round the edges—I ain’t got a lick of manners yet—but I AM crate trained, real friendly, and eager to please. I'm lookin' for a home where my future pawrents can dedicate a good portion of their time to my training. Bless your heart if you’re lookin’ for a project with a whole lotta potential cause I might just be your diamond in the ruff. I was originally scooped up in Fresno and found myself a mama… but life got in the way, and she had to move where I couldn’t come along. So now I’m back at the shelter, lookin’ for a second shot at forever. Most of my days were spent outdoors but don't get it twisted, I dream about the day where I can be part of the family- your family in particular- where I can get lots of snacks, belly rubs, get my hair done, the whole shebang. I’ll be the most loyal, lovable hound this side of the Mississippi (or Santa Barbara to be exact). Oh, and check out this lil’ black spot on my head—it’s like the universe gave me a beauty mark so y’all wouldn’t forget me. Also makes me easy to spot when I’m zoomin’ through the yard like a four-legged tornado. So whaddaya say, partner? Come on down and meet me! When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
