My story

Friends to the Forlorn Adopt-a-BullName: Frankie (River) Breed: Pitbull Terrier Sex: Male Approx. DOB: 1/7/2021 Weight: 70 lbs Location: Buford, Ga RESCUING FRANKIE Frankie and another dog were found tied up in a park and were taken to animal control. The other pup was adopted, but Frankie stayed. The shelters are full and unable to take pets in anymore while people are just dumping pets on the street. We had a foster step up to rescue Frankie and his FREEDOM RIDE was on 1/7/23. ABOUT FRANKIE Frankie is doing so well in his foster home! He is an intelligent boy, very food-motivated and wants to please his people. He is housebroken and crate trained but is still working on not pulling while walking on a leash. He is not suitable for a home with cats and is working on some reactivity with other dogs. He LOVES his crate, often hiding his treats in there for later. He is very submissive toward people but can be more dominant around other dogs. He is a medium-energy guy, getting some zoomies but mostly wanting to chill on the couch with this people. Some of Frankie's favorite activities include looking out the window bird watching, snuggling, playing with his toys, and eating (of course)! He's a big fan of a filled Kong toy or bone to chew on, but his favorite toys are his stuffies, especially his dragon, which he carries around everywhere. Frankie's foster mom says, "Frankie would love someone that is home a lot. He loves to be around his humans, and sleeps with them at night. He’s so smart, and eager to please so it would be great if he had someone willing to play games with him, and continue training him. Frankie would love a home with adults and older children. No other pets, besides maybe a fish. He wants to be the center of your whole world and just love you. He is such an amazing boy, and just needs someone who will be patient with his anxiety. Fantastic Frankie is such a great boy! He will keep you laughing, and in awe over how he takes such great care of his stuffed dragon, A.K.A. his bestie. He is very loyal and loves big. He also likes to be loved big! He enjoys cuddling on the couch, and going for walks. He’s never met a stranger, and loves when new human friends come to his house! ADOPTING FRANKIE Frankie is neutered, updated on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. He is on monthly preventative. He is eating premium grain-free dry dog food. His adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in meeting Frankie or possibly adopting him, please complete an adoption application at:  https://www.friendstotheforlorn.org/adoption-application.  If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@friendstotheforlorn.org.www.savingpitbulls.orgNovember 4, 2024, 12:01 am
