My story

Welcome Rosie to CCPAL Foster Program. Rosie is a 1-year-old Staffordshire/Doberman mix. She is good with cats, good with children, good in a crate and good with other confident male dogs. She is very affectionate and sweet. She has a low and short coat and not much of a shedder. She likes car rides and gets up in the car on her own. She will wear clothes and as most dogs of her breed don’t like weather that is too cold or too hot. She knows sit and has the adorable wrinkly forehead that makes her look concerned. She is the ultimate man dog. My husband fell head over heals when he met her. She is very social with people and isn’t startled or standoffish with strangers. She gets along well with a big 80 pound Pittie male that she is in foster care with. The only dog she hasn’t liked is a dog at the foster home with anxieties. She would make an amazing companion dog for some lucky family. She can be with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is active and a great cuddler. This is the best of both worlds. She can be active or cuddle up when you want to sit around as well. She is currently in Texas. She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. She can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
