My story

Brennan, a sweet 6-year-old Pit Bull mix, has been thriving in foster care for the past three months—and he’s ready for his forever home! During this time, we’ve learned so much about this special guy: he’s potty trained, crate trained, dog and cat friendly, loves car rides and walks beautifully on leash - making him the perfect walking or hiking partner. Though he had a rough start in life, Brennan’s gentle spirit and resilient heart continue to shine. He can be shy at first, but once he feels safe—especially with women—he transforms into a cuddly, affectionate companion. His foster mom says he loves to stretch out on the couch and soak up all the love and kisses he can get. Once comfortable, Brennan is playful and energetic, enjoying a long walk or a couple of shorter walks a day. He knows how to sit, takes treats gently, and has done well with older children who approach him calmly and respectfully. Brennan would do best in an adult-only or a calm, low activity household where he can build trust at his own pace. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving friend who just needs a little time to bloom, Brennan might be the one.
