My story

Amana was found as a pregnant stray and brought to the refuge in July of 2017. She is a shy lady. She is always around when treats are given out and will follow folks and politely meow for treats. She appears to want to be friendly, but is guarded. Amana will need a patient and quiet home and family to help her come out of her shell.Approx. DOB: 07/01/2016If interested in adopting a Goathouse cat or kitten, following are the steps required in our process:1. Complete our online adoption application (www.goathouserefuge.org/adoption-application/)2. Schedule a visit to the Goathouse Refuge3. Home Visit: Once you've had an opportunity to visit and complete the online application, your responses will be reviewed by the refuge staff, and if the applicant seems to be a good fit for the cat(s) of interest, a volunteer will contact you to set up a home visit. Only after a representative of the refuge has visited the applicant’s home will they consider continuing with the adoption process. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you soon!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Amana, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
