Steve

My story

Meet the amazingly rare Chalapeno Steve. (He was previously listed with us as "Bear" but his original name was Steve). is a cross between a chihuahua and a jalapeno pepper! Please don't be confused with the more popular Chabenero breed who are just spicy. Steve is spicy but he is also sweet. He is a 2 yr old, male chiweenie who is small at about 7 to 8 lbs. but has that famous "little dog syndrome" attitude. Steve will love you with his whole heart and is totally and completely devoted to his person, but will also try to overtake your household. (If you have had a chihuahua or chiweenie, this is one of their many "gifts"). He responds very well to a firm and consistent cues, so needs an owner experienced with his attitude and breed. He takes time to tolerate others existence, but would much prefer that you devote your entire life to him. Steve is potty trained, crate trained and poised to steal your heart. Steve gets along well with dogs and cats but because he believes that he is the ruler of all of mankind and would do better being an only dog. No small children would be best for this guy. Steve has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated , heartworm negative and is on a montly prevenatives.
