My story

FIV+DOB: 5/10/2019 Introducing Brock, the timid yet endearing brown tabby cat! At four years old, Brock exudes a gentle demeanor, finding solace in the cozy confines of his cat hut. His shy nature adds to his charm, as he navigates the world with cautious curiosity. Brock seeks a patient adopter who understands the value of time and space in building trust. The volunteers are so impressed with all the progress he has made since he came in. Initially he was so afraid of people but now he is starting to open up and show off his quirky, treat loving self. With the right environment and a caring companion, Brock is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving feline friend. Note: You can find him in our Zen den. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.** Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
