My story

ABOUT SMOKEY AND BANDIT Meet Smokey and Bandit, our silly sisters! This dynamic duo came to HAP from a hoarding case, along with a few of their other siblings. All the siblings were deeply under-socialized and terrified to be here, but none more than Smokey and Bandit. They mostly huddled together, trying to remain unseen. We sent all the siblings to our amazing fosters, who showered them in love and showed them what the good life is all about! Once they all returned, everyone was adopted...aside from Smokey and Bandit. The sisters have been just stuck here, getting bounced around from room to room, just waiting. Smokey is the more outgoing of the two, always willing to play and hang out with her human friends. Once she warms up to someone, she'll rub up against them and allow them to cuddle her! Bandit, on the other hand, is a little more reserved. She enjoys sitting with a human friend and she likes to play, but she isn't much for pets or snuggles. If you're looking for the perfect yin-yang, sweet and salty, active and lazy pair of cats, look no further! *Smokey and Bandit get along well with other cats, though Smokey can be a little rough at times. We don't recommend dogs or children, though. **If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
