My story

Bon Jour! My name is Rousseau, and while my name may be fancy, I'm a pretty down-to-earth guy. I get along with most other dogs and humans but choose to ignore cats. I tend to be a little shy at first meetings, but it usually doesn't take me long to warm up to new friends and show my true sweetness. Attention is my love language, and I give great nose-touch kisses. Need someone to talk to? I'll always have an ear out for those that I love. I was born in June of 2023, which means I have had time to learn some manners, including walking well on a leash and being house-trained. I weigh in at sleek 46 lbs., the perfect size for cuddling and playing. My ideal person or family will be ready to shower me with attention, help me feel secure, and be ready to play. In return I will give my forever people all of my love and devotion, and quite possibly provide a bit of entertainment along the way. Fun Fact: I am a huge fan of watermelon!
