My story

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. MIKITA was saved by an independent rescuer.. Well fast forward to 1.5 year ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. MIKITA is now healthy and ready for adoption. MIKITA can be shy at first. She gets comfortable very quick . She can get startled, but will come back and investigate. She gets very excited about her can food. MIKITA is a very laid back girl. She is sweet and loves her pets. MIKITA can be such a sweet love bug. She has the cutest little grouchy face and her beautiful coat is very unique. Her purr box is very loud. She's looking for his REAL FUREVER home. MIKITA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / ABYSSINIAN-TABBY MIX. She is over 3-4 years (this is an estimated guess) old. She has lived with cats and dogs. She has never been around children. MIKITA is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ******************************* NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS ****************************** FEBRUARY 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us, call the Petsmart location where cat is located or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts.
