My story

Hi! I’m Colby! My journey started in Puerto Rico, but after being rescued by Big Dog Ranch I’m now thriving in my foster home, gaining confidence every day! I’m a sweet & charming—but very shy at first. Sudden movements can make me nervous, so I appreciate a gentle approach. But once I know you, I promise to become your most loving and loyal companion! I’m cat-friendly and great with other dogs, and I especially love my foster sister—she gives me courage and helps me come out of my shell. Having another pup by my side has made a big difference, and I’d love to find a forever home where I can continue to grow with a furry friend. At a year and a half old, I’ve come a long way, learning new manners and am proud to say I am 100% dependable when it comes to doing my business outside, and thanks to my foster family I am gaining confidence all the time.
