My story

Please contact Melissa A Aten (melissaa@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.pretty brindle girl ISO forever home! NALA JEAN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name: Nala Jean     Best Guess for Breed:  Pit bull terrier and shepherd mix     Best Guess for Age:  3 years as of July 2024     SEX: Female   Estimated Weight:  38 lbs   Gets Along With:  Nala Jean loves her humans, but she shouldn't go to a home with other animals or children.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Nala Jean is Looking For: Sweet Nala Jean had a rough start in life, and, as a result, she's still figuring things out. She loves her adult humans (and boy do they love her!), but the unpredictably of children are a challenge for her. She's looking for a calm, quiet household where she can be treated like the queen she is. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for this snugglebug? What My Foster Says About Me: Nala Jean is the epitome of a snuggle bug.  Her favorite thing in the world is finding a warm cozy blanket, sunny spot, or bed to curl up in. If she has her Human there to snuggle and nap with she is in heaven!!!  She also makes these cute little pig snorts that are adorable. Her nose gets busy and snorts like a little piggy all over the place.  She also loves to play and and is great at tug!!!  She is strong loves a good game of tug but also loves to do doggy puzzles to use that big brain of hers to find the treats, the piggy snorts are so great when doing these.  Sometimes when you find the right word she gets the best head tilts too, her best ones are when you ask her if she is just a baby.     TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online HERE .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament.   Thank you for contacting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and helping to save a life! Please visit us online at  www.luckydoganimalrescue.org . BE A FOSTER!!! Fosters make it possible for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to save and care for homeless and abandoned dogs!  To learn about fostering, please contact fostering@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
