My story

Hi! My name is Noodle! I was also being called Podiki, which means “mouse” in Greek because I’m a cute, light grey tabby, a bit shy, and have an adorable squeaky meow. But in my mind I’m a fierce lion who loves to play with my cat dancer, chase paper balls, and chatter at birds outside the window. I’m a sweet boy, just over 2 years old (I'm a Cinco de Mayo baby!), and was rescued from a life on the street with my siblings at a few months old. I'm a little skittish at first, but I’m getting braver and braver every day. Now I love to purr and get cheek scratches and pets, ideally while enjoying a Churu or other tube treat. I so want to be your cuddly best friend, and with a bit of patience and a lot of love, I'll get there! I’m super energetic and playful and like to follow people around the house to see what they’re up to, but then sometimes retreat to a cozy chair or my secret spot under the stairs for a nap. I do co-exist with my fellow foster roommates, but I would much prefer to be a single kitty- I would love to get ALL of the attention! I would love to find a forever home with a human or humans who will play with me and look forward to watching me come out of my shell- you'll love my transformation!
