My story

Claudia, a lovely tabby with a stunning coat who has had quite a remarkable journey. Rescued from an animal hoarding situation, she was initially skittish, going so far as to run away from a foster home. She spent time in a feral cat colony before deciding she preferred the comforts of indoor life which caused her to start trying to enter the home of a kind human. Now in the home of a patient foster, she's slowly coming out of her shell, though still startled by sudden movements or loud noises. We feel she would do best in an adult-only home or with gentle, older children. Claudie definitely needs a patient and loving adopter to help her continue coming out of her shell. She is food-motivated and loves to play, so these are great ways to win her over. Claudia is FIV+, which requires some special care, but it won't impact her overall quality of life.
