My story

Age:  11 DOB:  04/10/2012 Sex:  Male Spayed/Neutered:  Yes Breed:  DSH Primary Color:  Grey Secondary Color:  White Weight:  approx. 18 lbs Microchip ID:  985111000179854 Medications:  Cosequin, 1 tablet 1x/day mixed with 1/8 can Royal Canon Urinary SO Food:  Free-feed Purina Friskies Farm Favorites Bonded?:  Yes, with his littermate brother, P.B. Next date of vaccines: • 4/29/24: Annual wellness exam, Rabies 1 yr  • 9/25/24: FVRCP 3 yr booster Temperament with other cats/dogs/children: Best in a home only with his bonded littermate brother, P.B.. Jay has issues with aggression toward strangers (humans & pets). There is no history of charging or biting behavior. He will need a safe space to call his own (shared with P.B.) and a patient owner who can give him time to warm up to them. Bio:  Jay (answers to his name) is a complicated soul with much love to give to just the right human. He and his littermate brother, P.B., have been together in the same home since they were orphaned as kittens and needed bottle-feeding. Jay enjoys telling you all about his day, very vocally, while also requesting a good, hard ear rub. He’ll happily lounge and watch TV with you on rainy days. He also has a habit of claiming things as his own by sitting on them - shoes, toys, random stray papers, socks, you name it! As you’ll see in the video, Jay likes to keep everything nice and tidy by constantly “cleaning” around the house. Jay will need a lot of patience, distance, and his own safe place to call his own until he can warm up to his new surroundings and humans. Once he does, you’ll have a loyal companion for life! *** The original owner can provide some food, a litter box, a cat bed, and toys upon request. &#226&#128&#169 Baltimore City & County Area Rebecca at rebecca.louise.kelly@gmail.com ***Disclaimer*** Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms at the inn to admit every dog that needs a furever home. But, we still want to help those dogs (and cats) on their journey! By courtesy posting, AAHA is offering our website/network as an additional resource to help an owner or shelter gain additional exposure for the dog they are trying to place. AAHA has not met nor evaluated the dog (or cat) we are courtesy posting. AAHA makes no representation about courtesy posted pets including the health and temperament and accepts no liability in this exchange. Arrangements for adoptions are made between the caretaker of the pet and the potential adopter.November 6, 2024, 10:29 am
