My story

Ace of Base is a Swedish band formed in 1987. Their chart-topping album, “Happy Nation” was a soundtrack for many a 90s kid. Our handsome boy Ace would like to dedicate their song, “Beautiful Life” to you!“Take a walk in the park when you feel downThere`s so many things there that`s gonna lift you upSee the nature in bloom, a laughing childSuch a dream, whoa, oh-ohIt`s a beautiful life, oh oh-oh-ohIt`s a beautiful life, oh oh-oh-ohIt`s a beautiful life, oh oh-oh-ohI just wanna be here beside you”Ace wants to be the one beside you, walking in the park. He hopes to lift you up when you’re feeling down, and to bring a little more joy to your life when you’re feeling great!Ace spent a short time in a foster home and his foster parent RAVED about his impressive qualities, sharing:-Ace was excellent with young children and very gentle-He was great when properly introduced to other dogs-He’s friendly, protective, loving, calm, goofy and silly!-When walking, if you say `with me,` he will walk alongside you-He loves rope toys and KongsAce also has serious volunteer fans here at the shelter:“Ace is a super friendly boy! He greeted me with a waggy tail at his kennel door. I tossed a couple of treats in and he caught them midair! I took him for a little walk around the pond and he was a delightful walking partner. He was very curious to sniff all the smells; he may have been a botanist in another life! He is a smart boy and showed me that he knows “sit” and “down” commands; he probably has more tricks up his sleeve. He`s obviously a very smart boy and being treat motivated, he will probably thrive in a home where he gets to exercise his body and mind. He`s a good boy and I look forward to walking him again!”“Ace is an easygoing gentle giant. Don`t let his size intimidate you- he is easy to leash, walks well with no pulling, and shows no reactivity to passing dogs or people. Ace loves treats which he takes with a soft mouth. Overall, a very good boy who is sure to become a favorite.”Ace shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. You wouldn`t move in with someone without meeting them first, would you?Ace is hoping that you’ll come and meet him today- we’re pretty sure that if you take him home, you’ll be singing, “it’s a beautiful life!” before you know it!
