KNOWN WITH DOGS: Grace has played with other dogs at the Homeward Trails Adoption Center and is considered a hard and vocal player who would do best (if there is another dog in the home) with someone who is active but defers to Grace's boundaries. KNOWN WITH CATS: Grace would prefer a home without cats. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Grace would prefer to live with older children or adults. KNOWN COMMANDS: Touch, Sit, Down, Spin, Place. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Grace is housebroken to our knowledge. KNOWN LIKES: Affection, dogs, treats, training, toys. KNOWN DISLIKES: Grace has a hard time at the vet and may have some handling sensitivities - we recommend working on muzzle training for future vet visits, people touching her food or toys when she is engaging with it, but will always trade! ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Grace, the spirited pup with a heart full of love and a zest for life that's sure to bring joy to any home. With an estimated weight of 50 lbs, Grace may be compact in size, but she's bursting with energy and affection. Grace's list of likes is simple yet heartwarming - she thrives on the love and affection of her human companions, along with tasty treats to reward her good behavior. However, she does have a dislike for loud noises, so a calm and peaceful environment would suit her best. Despite her past challenges, including sensitivity at the vet, Grace is ready to turn over a new leaf and find a loving family who can provide her with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and, most importantly, unconditional love.
