Sofine

My story

Sofine is a handsome, low-energy, fellow who gets along with both dogs and cats. He is in a loving foster home with six other dogs and countless cats. He is the dog version of a crazy-cat-lady (see video of Sofine with cats). His favorite activities include spending time outside for hours at a time sniffing, trotting, and exploring in the fenced-in yard and then coming back in to curl up and sleep on the couch. Sofine is a shy guy and takes time to warm up to people, but he is a lovebug once he gets to know you. We have noticed he prefers females over males. We are not sure how he will be with kids as he hasn’t had much exposure with them. Since Sofine lives with six other male dogs, he is learning not to mark inside the house. He has made tons of progress in this area and it’s very much possible he only does this because of all the male dog energy in his foster home. He wears a “belly band” comfortably while inside for extra prevention. Sofine is very treat and food motivated, so additional training should be a breeze. He is leash trained and great on walks (see video of Sofine on a walk with other dogs). He is overall an independent dog who doesn’t ask for much. If you are looking for a chill adaptable dog who also gets along with cats and dogs, then Sofine will be the perfect fit for your home. Sofine is hoping for a new name and a home to call his own!
