My story

This brave boy came to us after facing some challenges in his previous household, but his story begins much earlier with a rescue that saved his life. Originally rescued from Lebanon where he endured harsh conditions as a puppy, Simon experienced early trauma that has shaped who he is today. Found tied up with a broken leg and severely underweight, he learned early that the world could be an uncertain place. While Simon's past has made him cautious around new people, sometimes to the point of defensive behavior including biting, those who take the time to earn his trust discover an incredibly loyal and loving companion. His wariness is his way of protecting himself, born from experiences that taught him to be careful about who he lets into his world. Once Simon feels safe with you, his true personality shines through. He's a dog who finds joy in life's simple pleasures like chasing a ball across the yard, embarking on long walks where he can explore new scents, cooling his paws in the pond on warm days, and most treasured of all, sitting quietly beside his favorite person watching the world go by together.
