My story

DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Niamha is 13yo, weighs 4.5lbs., is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, is microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, which her veterinary records will substantiate.   NOTE:  Please find additional photos and/or videos using the following link:  https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/e5s3mvzvl6gtpcqbgwjnw/h?rlkey=utusjz1ddfzdxe7ubd33ta498&dl=0 Niamha's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her:  Niamha's guardian's living arrangements have changed and she can no longer care for her.  Niamha's guardian provides a brief medical history:  "Chronic nasal/eye discharge.  She's on medication and a supplement that's been keeping it under control." Niamha's guardian states the following regarding children:  Niamha hasn't lived with children, but her guardian recommends her living with children, stating "I don't imagine she'd warm up to children; she's pretty independent, but she would tolerate them so long as they were gentle with her". Niamha's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Niamha has lived with a dog, so her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "She's very independent, but was very sweet with our dog when they were together.  She's unafraid of other new dogs and holds her own.  She should not to go a house with a very large dog, however, based purely on her very small size". Niamha's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Niamha lives with cats so her guardian recommends her living with cats, stating "She's very sweet with the cats in her current household that she's befriended them.  Some of the cats have picked on her in the past, likely because she's the smallest in the house". Niamha's guardian describes her as: Playful Friendly Affectionate Independent Indoor only House-Trained Likes men Likes women   Niamha's guardian describes her ideal future home:  "Quiet household (with or without dogs/cats) where she will get plenty of love when she's seeking it out, and high, warm places for her to perch and oversee the house." Rehoming Fee:  None Location:  Baltimore, MD ***** ADOPTION PROCESS  1. If you are interested in ADOPTING me, please CLICK HERE:  ADOPT ME 2. When your application is received, a Placement Manager will do a basic screening. Applications will be forwarded to the owner for further screening and continuation in the adoption process.  3. Please give us 48-72 hours for a Placement Manager to respond after you submit your application. If it has been longer than that, please email:  rescuewellrehome@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE: We provide ALL of the information we have on this pet, here on this page, in its entirety from the pet's owner. For more on how our process works, please read our DISCLOSURE.   IMPORTANT: By completing an adoption application, you consent to Rescue Well screening your application, contacting your references, and forwarding your application to the pet owner for further consideration.
