My story

MACY has been adopted. MACY is a very confident cat who would like to hang out with the family (no shrinking violet here)! She is very playful and can be talkative. She can also be a little bossy! She is not a fan of other cats in the cottage, so we are seeking a home where she is the only kitty as she gets overstimulated by their close proximity in our cottage -- Her coat is really pretty with the ticked fur and tabby stripes and M on her forehead. Squirrel Girl is a cute nickname we have for her -- try saying that 5xFast. Haha! Macy would not be suitable in a home with small children. eDOB 1/12/2022 SCHEDULE A VISIT TO MEET THE CATS & KITTENS IN OUR CAT COTTAGE: - Please drop us a note telling us a little about your household, your reasons for looking to adopt, and what you are looking for in a pet. Include your availability and we'll get back to you! OUR EMAIL: - animalsindistressnj@gmail.com WHERE TO FIND US ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR APPOINTMENT: - 720 Edinburg Road, Mercerville NJ 08619 - We are located behind the animal hospital. Go through the tall gate to find us. APPLICATIONS: - To submit an application directly, go to: animals-in-distress.org/adoption-application/ ADOPTION PROCESS & FEES - You must be 21 years or older to adopt. - There is an application & approval process. - Once approved, the adoption fee is $150. * If you adopt 2 cats or kittens to the same home, the adoption fee is $250. * We strongly believe that kittens do better in pairs and that bonded adult siblings who find themselves in a shelter should not be separated, so do offer this discount. ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: - Testing for FeLV & FIV - Vaccinations (FVRCP/Distemper & Rabies) - Spay or neuter of the cat - Microchipping Please be aware that we do not adopt kittens into homes without a suitable fur friend for companionship (unless they are listed as being okay as a single), and we will not split bonded pairs. If the animal you are interested in is part of a bonded pair, please only submit an application if you are considering adopting both. Only homes within a driving distance of 45 minutes or less will be considered for kittens under 6 months of age. Note that we reserve the right to deny any application that may be unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come - first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals in our care.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt MACY aka MACY, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
