My story

‼‼‼‼‼URGENT EUTHANASIA DATE:1-21-23‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼ This goofy girl is Rosie! At intake, Rosie was a starved, nervous girl who was unsure what all the commotion was about! Rosie has always loved people from day one entering the shelter, and no matter how much we fuss about her gaining weight, she has always been the perfect size for a hug or a good cuddle! Rosie loves going on walks and exploring new things, and though she still has some weight to gain, her arch nemesis is the squirrel is always taunting her on her walks, which can cause her to pull a little to make sure he has returned up his tree where he belongs! Due to Rosie loving people so much, she believes she needs to be the only girl in the home since there can only be room for one queen on her new dog bed! Rosie is still learning that children aren't quite as strong as adults and will try to jump up and hug them all the same, so it would be best if Rosie was supervised when around small children to ensure that no one gets licked to death! Rosie LOVES belly rubs, and we mean it when we say she loves them; once she gets through smelling someone, she immediately on her back, wiggling around until you cave and pet her belly; these belly rubs can come anytime, anywhere, on your walks, during meal time, walking to any random location, yep it's the perfect time for her to flop like a fish and get belly rubs! Though there are many things we love about Rosie, here are the barebone basics of Rose: She is a pit mix around 4-5 years old and weighs around 50 pounds now, though we believe she will be a healthy 55 pounds someday! For more information on how to adopt or rescue Rosie, please message us on Facebook or call/text us at 256-960-6623 or 256-960-1408!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rosie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
