My story

Meet Coral Sue! Coral is an absolute love bug. She loves all sorts of dogs and kids of all ages. She is only about two or three years old and came to us with a terrible and sad story. She had been found running loose with a pack of dogs and was thought to be heavily pregnant. She was put on the euthanasia list where we were able to get her and bring her into our foster care. She developed a terrible upper respiratory infection, including three different viruses. Sadly, she lost most of her puppies to the diseases. Throughout it all, she’s been a kind and loving dog. Coral should weigh approximately 45 pounds but she’s a bit more now, as her foster has over-indulged her because of all she has been through, and we just can’t blame them! We aren’t sure about her breed mix, we are going to call her a Staffordshire bull terrier, as well as a Dalmatian and possibly coonhound mix! She’s been learning to leash walk and has become quite the couch potato living in her foster home, and she is perfectly house-trained. Interested in becoming a forever home for Coral? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Coral. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Coral the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Coral Sue, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
