My story

Hi! My name is Marcus! Everyone who meets me thinks I am going to an ornery little dog! Just because I only weigh 3 1/2 pounds and I grew up on the streets of San Antonio doesn’t mean I have been hardened. It just makes me want to be loved even more! I have been told that I am very lucky that I was not snatched up by an owl or a chicken hawk. I guess I am lucky because I got snatched up by a rescue angel. Now I am living in a home with what I hear is called a foster mom. I’m not exactly sure what that means but I know for sure I enjoy getting food served to me everyday! I also enjoy the fact that I am allowed to sleep in a big bed, even under the covers. Where I am now there are lots of other dogs, even big ones! They don’t scare me though. I like having friends, even the cats are okay. My rescue angel had lots of kids, I liked the kids! I didn’t even mind sitting in their lap as long as they were gentle with me. My foster mom tells me that one day soon I will have my own family that will love me forever. I sure hope she is right. I definitely don’t want to live on my own anymore. Some of my friends have left to go to their own homes with families that love them. I hope a family will pick me soon. I want to be loved too!
