My story

Meet Alaska! This handsome kitty was returned to us in July 2025 after he was no longer a good fit for his adoptive home. Alaska has been fairly shy since coming back into our care and would love to find a quiet home who will give him all the patience he needs to really let his personality shine! More often than not Alaska can be found curled comfortably in a bed with his toys tucked under his front paws when he is settled down for a nap. He likes gentle pets, especially ear scratches, but does prefer not to be held at this time. Alaska would do best in a relaxed home where he can spend his time sunbathing in a comfy spot! In his previous home, Alaska was no longer getting along well with the other male cat in the home. He may do best as the only cat in his forever home so he can be the one getting all the love from his people. Alaska would do okay with respectful children who will understand that he is not always going to want attention. If you have a little extra TLC to give than be sure to stop in and visit with Alaska! Alaska is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
