My story

This gorgeous sweetheart has a great playful and loving personality that her foster mama just loves. She is a well rounded girl with the puppy goofies and snuggles! She would be a great addition to any home!Update May 2025:ELI is a very busy girl. Loves to run chase squirrels , play in the pond, getting brushed She doesn't seem to spook easily with storms. She loves being praised and getting lots of attention. She has played well with our other dogs. She is very excitable when she first comes inside (has to check everything out) them calms down. She has stayed in overnight with no incidents but prefers outdoors. We do have a collar on her just because she does like to explore she does come back when you beep or call her. I know her mother was a hound dog but this dog has got a lot of Labrador ,not hound dog, in her.SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400 We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in. We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster-based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call or browse our available dogs at sger.petfinder.com You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants.
