**Meet Day Day: The Sassy, Sweet, and Smart Companion** Day Day's story is one of resilience and newfound happiness. For the first nine years of her life, she endured the hardships of being a junkyard dog, only to spend the next two years in a shelter. But now, at 12 years old, she's experiencing the love and security of a real home for the first time.  Despite her challenging past, Day Day exudes happiness and intelligence. She's quick-witted and always keeps her humans on their toes. Yet, underneath her sassy exterior lies a heart of gold, filled with love and affection. Day Day's favorite pastimes include cuddling, playing with toys, and going for walks. But don't let her age fool you—Day Day prances with excitement on her walks, embodying the spirit of a much younger dog.  Day Day is a loyal companion who thrives on human connection. She's happiest when she's by her human's side, soaking up all the love and attention she can get.  Day Day’s ideal home would be one without children or other pets, where she can be the center of attention. She's looking for someone patient and understanding, willing to work with her to improve certain behaviors and provide her with the love and security she deserves. Despite her past hardships, Day Day’s zest for life is undeniable. She's ready to embark on this new chapter with her forever family, bringing joy, laughter, and plenty of sass along the way.
