My story

Say hello to Rolo, a striking and intelligent dog with a big personality and even bigger potential. Rolo has been with us since last fall, and while he’s captured our hearts with his unique spirit, it’s clear that shelter life isn’t where he’s meant to be.Rolo is a dog who thrives on structure, consistency, and connection. The busy shelter environment has been hard on him, and he`s shown us that what he really needs is a dedicated adopter who can help him shine. He’s energetic, clever, and full of life—but he’s also stressed and overwhelmed by kennel living, which can make it hard for him to show his best self.Rolo enjoys the company of other dogs and has joined playgroups, though he can sometimes be a little too enthusiastic with gentler pups. With the right match and clear guidance, he can be a great companion. He needs someone with patience, understanding, and a willingness to help him navigate the world—but he has so much love to give in return.Rolo is looking for a committed adopter who can provide him with the structure and support he craves.
