Look at those teeth!!! Musical, cultured Micio seeks forever home to spend the rest of his life. When he's not looking gorgeous in his 17 year old body he can actually hum a Brahms concerto or a Viennese waltz. After all, he's lived most of his life on the lower east side of Manhattan in the hallways of music where musicians and composers have made their homes for years. Micio has outlived two owners who have both passed on. He is now abandoned and looking for a companion to spend his final days with. Micio has had a fascinating life. Here are some fun facts about him; Micio is a sweet old man looking for his final companion. Being a senior Micio would be a great fit for someone looking for a less energetic cat. With that said, he likes to explore and has no trouble climbing and walking all over the place. He'll warm up to you quickly. He has no problem cuddling and curling up for hours. He loves chin scratches and will rub up against your toes for a scratch, rolling over for belly pets too! He likes tuna but can be picky, preferring shredded wet food to pt Despite some missing teeth, he has a great appetite He is also very very thirsty, due to kidney disease, and you'll find that he uses his litter box more than most. His favorite toys are ribbons and twine, but he's not above a catnip filled stuffie either. Micio would appreciate someone home during the day who can offer pets, cozy blankets, several cups of water out or a kitty fountain (or he'll steal from your cup) and all the seafood he loves. From current guardian: He really is a sweet cat. My allergies and time out of the apartment (I regularly travel long distances for work and will sometimes be gone for 12 hours) are the main reasons my home isn't a good fit. But I'd love to see that he goes to someone kind and sincere! Micio will be getting some dental work and some needed grooming. He is looking for a forever home to retire too.
