My story

Meet Matilda, a sweet and playful 2-year-old pup who’s ready to find her forever family! With her moderate energy level, Matilda enjoys a good balance of playtime and relaxation. She loves being outside and would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can run around and explore at her own pace. Whether she’s chasing toys, soaking up the sun, or stretching out for a nap, Matilda is happiest when she’s near her people. Matilda is a total cuddle bug who adores affection and quality time. She’s great with kids and would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a friendly, loyal companion. She’s also a smart girl who knows basic commands and is eager to please, especially when treats and praise are involved! When it comes to other dogs, Matilda is dog selective—she doesn’t get along with every pup she meets, so slow and proper introductions are a must. Once she finds a canine friend she clicks with, she can enjoy their company, but she would also do just fine as the only dog in the home. We’re currently unsure how she does with cats, so any introductions to feline friends should be done cautiously and with supervision. Matilda is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy yard time, snuggles on the couch, and the structure to help her continue learning and growing. With her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and family-friendly temperament, Matilda is sure to bring joy and love to her future home.
