My story

Meet Bruno, also known as Corey, a lovable 1-year-old hound mix with a big heart and boundless energy! Born here at Big Dog Ranch alongside his 4 siblings, who have all found homes—along with their mom, Bruno is the last of his litter still waiting for his forever family. He was previously adopted but returned through no fault of his own—and now he’s ready to try again with a family who understands his playful spirit. This handsome boy is full of potential! Bruno is extremely food-motivated, loves to learn, and already knows basic commands. He’s housetrained, good on a leash, and loves spending time with other dogs. He also enjoys playing with toys, getting cuddles, and being around people—though he can be a little too enthusiastic at times, so supervision around children is recommended. Due to his high energy and strong prey drive, Bruno isn’t a match for a home with cats, but he’ll thrive with an experienced owner who’s ready to continue his training and give him plenty of outlets for his energy.
