Tiago

My story

Tiago is a sweet youngster who came to us from a rural animal shelter. He had a compound fracture and sadly, due to a nasty bone infection and nerve damage, his leg couldn't be saved. Tiago is tall and lanky so he needs to develop the muscles in his remaining back leg to fully support himself. He's only about 1-2 years old so sometimes the youngster in him wants to play but we are taking it slowly. Tiago is affectionate, gentle and super sweet, especially with people he knows well. He loves other dogs and he's much happier when they are around so we are suggesting him for a home with other dogs (male or female). He will also require a home with a yard as he refuses to potty on leash (it actually led to him being quite constipated during his stay at the hospital) but he doesn't require a ton of space. He is crate trained and easy on leash.
