Marzi

My story

Marzi is a beautiful white pit mix that is looking for her forever home. She is 5 years old and sweet as can be. Marzi loves to play with toys and can entertain herself quite well with them. She already knows sit and shake. She loves her treats so teaching her more tricks will be a breeze. Marzi is still working on her leash manners but with consistency she is starting to figure what is expected from her on walks. She is learning that pulling doesn`t get her where she wants to go. She is described as `sweet and affectionate` by volunteers. Marzi would love to meet any potential canine siblings before heading home. Come meet this sweet girl today!Marzi went on a Dog Day Out recently and here`s some of what the volunteer had to say:`...She loves car rides and will put her head out of the window. When walking, she does pull a little but could care less about other dogs and loves all strangers. She is house trained. She is very treat motivated and already knows sit, shake, and lay....and will expect a treat per command. When I was cooking dinner she looked what I was doing and never begged. She walked away and took a nap on the first floor. When I sat on the couch she immediately put her head in my lap for some in between the eyes scratches which she loves so much her eyes roll back. When I patted the couch she jumped up, moved a pillow and blanket in place to put her head on the pillow and covered herself up. She loves toys and plays a good game of tug a war. She loves men and woman and did great with my 11 year old daughter.`Marzi is living in a foster home. If you would like to meet her please email foster@kcpetproject.org.
