My story

Say backpack! Dora the Explorer already has her sidekick named Boots, but our Boots may be the perfect fit for you! Boots was surrendered to EHS along with another cat (Gambit) when their owner could no longer care for them. Gentle Boots was understandably sad and nervous when he first arrived at the shelter along with his companion, but has proven himself to be a real sweetheart. Boots is ready for a forever home to explore! ABOUT BOOTS- At shelter- Boots can be timid at first, and nervous of the movement and noises at the shelter. Once he relaxes (which usually doesn’t take long), this “absolute angel” shows you how affectionate and friendly he can be!- Boots LOVES pets and chin scratches and in return you may get head bonks and “purrs that sound like a motorboat”.- He also enjoys playing with a wand toy and other toys in his kennel . When playtime is over, relaxing in a cat tree is the best place to be!- Boots enjoys having his handsome, black and white fur brushed.- Boots has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations. BOOTS’S IDEAL HOME- As Boots has been described as “extremely affectionate” and a cat who “goes crazy for pets”, he would be happy in a home with someone who has time and affection to spare. - Boots would do well with another feline friend (maybe Gambit?) and could also be adopted on his own.- We are unsure of his exposure to children, dogs, or other pets, so we don’t know how Boots would do with them.Could Boots be the right sidekick for you on your next adventures? Find out by applying to adopt Boots today! If you have any questions about Boots or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Boots, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
