My story

Sabrina isn’t just another dog in need of a home – she’s a survivor who’s waiting for someone to finally see her for the wonderful canine companion she is. 💕 A long-term resident at APA, this beautiful lady with her unique “no-ears” look has been overlooked far too many times simply because she’s a little shy and wears her past on her sleeve. But don’t let that fool you — Sabrina is full of love, resilience, and playful energy once she’s in the right environment. Sabrina would REALLY love a home with another doggie companion. She gains so much confidence from her furry companion and loves to play, snuggle, and even mirror them. A peaceful yard would be a wonderful place to serve as her sanctuary for exercise and relaxation. Sabrina is house-trained and settles beautifully at home, especially when left with her dog buddy. Inside, she’s calm, well-mannered, and respectful. Outside, she’s a garden guardian and play queen. Once you gain her trust she'll melt completely and cuddles up in bed each night. Sabrina has had a tough start and just needs someone to give her a real chance. Her close friend says it best: “I was honestly expecting a really tough time... but she fit in within hours. With the right setup, she is a completely normal, loving, silly, and sweet dog.
