My story

Meet Essence, a 60-pound Husky mix with a soft coat and an even softer heart. At six-and-a-half years old, this beauty is the definition of mellow—sweet, gentle, and happy just to be near her people.Essence enjoys the company of other dogs and wouldn’t mind sharing her home with a canine friend. She does ask for a no-cat household (those whiskers, that twitchy tail and fast moving-ness are not her jam). She could likely be a great companion for children, too, thanks to her easygoing nature.The one thing Essence doesn’t love? Being left home alone for long stretches.
