My story

Who can resist those ears?! And you're sure to be charmed by the silly little grin Kai makes when she wants to play. She's super friendly with other dogs and people and happily greets them with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. She's very affectionate with her people and is happy to share them with her four-legged friends. She's currently living with two other dogs, a husky and a smaller dog, with whom she plays constantly. Kai loves to wrestle and chase. When she's chilling-out, one of her favorite pastimes is lying in the backyard watching the rascally squirrels chatter and tease her. Kai is very receptive to direction, has mastered "sit" and is working on other commands. She sits nicely and waits for her food and doesn't try to eat the other dogs' meals. She's fully housetrained, rides well in the car, her recall is great, and she'll generally stop doing something if you ask her to (other than literally climbing the tree to pick apples -- she thinks they're delicious and picks them for the other dogs too!). Kai is a cheerfully energetic girl, but also likes to relax outside or nap by your feet. She truly is a ray of sunshine! Kai will benefit from consistent rules and training since she is very enthusiastic. She is smart and, as mentioned above, has been partially trained so she just needs a patient adopter to finish her education. Kai would do well with adults, teens, and kids ~10+. This is a wonderful dog waiting for you to discover her!
