Seven-year-old Shrimp is the catch of the day! True to her name, she is a tiny gal; her foster mom calls her a “pocket pug” and reports that she is easy to pick up and carry. Shrimp is an affectionate velcro pug who just wants to be where the humans and dogs in her foster family are at all times. She gets excited in the company of dogs and humans of all ages, and gets wheezy when she’s happy. Her likes include sitting in laps, hanging out in the backyard, scarfing down wet food, and being pampered. She is housetrained and crate trained, but can be a little stubborn on the leash, planting her paws firmly on the ground if she doesn’t want to go in a certain direction. Because Shrimp is so social, her ideal family will include a mix of attentive humans and friendly canines, offer her plenty of backyard time when the Texas weather is cooperating, and allow her to sleep in bed with them. If your ideal BFF is a friendly little pocket pug, apply for Shrimp at dfwpugs.com!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shrimp, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
