My story

Charlotte is very sweet but a bit shy. She was born in someone's backyard with her siblings. She loves to play and is loving, independent and mellow. She was adopted with her brother Bart in 2023 and they became very bonded. Both like to snuggle and play together and would sleep in bed with their person. Unfortunately they were returned to us in July 2025 as their adopter was no longer able to care for them. Since they have been back in our care, they have been a bit afraid and confused, as you can imagine. They are slowly figuring out they are safe and warming up, but they really need to be back in a home environment to thrive. Please consider fostering Bart & Charlotte who are bonded and should remain together. They are used to having a family and have let us know they really miss it! They require a quiet and calm environment with lots of love, treats and some patience.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Charlotte, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
