My story

Introducing Coal, the youthful and affectionate black lab mix whose journey took him from a shelter in South Carolina to the loving embrace of Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Coal is the embodiment of sweetness, a loving boy with a heart of gold. He's a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs, getting along famously with canine companions, especially those his size or smaller. While he may be a bit timid around larger dogs, his cuddly nature shines through, making him a delightful companion. Coal's days are filled with boundless playfulness, whether he's chasing his beloved toys or enjoying outdoor adventures. Although leash training is a work in progress, his willingness to learn and friendly demeanor make him an excellent choice for a family pet. With a heart open to strangers and a warm disposition, Coal is poised to become the perfect family dog, ready to bring joy and companionship into your home.
