My story

Loves: space with grass for sunbathing and zoomies, leash walks/runs, car rides, soft beds, toys, belly rubs, leadership, and consistency from her Human. Loves NOT so much: sharing HOME space with other 4-legged creatures. Moxie tends to "attach" herself to one person, this has ranged from adult to child. Therefore we recommend a home with adults only who can use common sense techniques to redirect any over-protective tendencies. Moxie does not what to lead the pack but if there is no APPARENT Leader she will step up to the plate which creates anxiety and bad behaviors for any dog. We have adoption clinic on the 1st Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications. You can complete and easy online application here: https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The $250 adoption fee covers S/N, microchip, vaccines and heartworm/tic borne illness testing.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Moxie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
